DEPARTMENT: Hospitality CLASSIFICATION: SPA PRACTITIONER (LODGE SUPPORT) In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a range of treatments, including massages, facials, and body therapies, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for our clientele. Additionally, you will assist with maintaining spa facilities, managing inventory, and promoting spa packages and wellness programs. The ideal candidate will have a certification in spa therapy, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for holistic health and wellness. Join us in creating a serene and therapeutic environment for our guests at our luxurious lodge. Responsible for the daily cleanliness and organisation of the facilities: massage rooms, Change rooms, yoga room, spa hallway and spa reception area. Maintain a clean, hygienic and neat work environment at all times; ensure all equipment is in safe working order Exceed guest expectations by providing personalised, efficient and courteous customer service Show dedication to making every guest feel welcome in our surroundings Provide necessary information to compile complete guest records. Perform various massage treatments ranging from relaxation, deep tissue to hot stone while Accommodating guest’s needs and creating individualised experiences. Providing in-depth knowledge of all products and services available within the Spa Monitoring and re-stocking of all massage supplies and products within the Spa Answering phone calls with excellent etiquette Able to lead a stretch or yoga class Demonstrate safe workplace practices Operate according to the policies, procedures, quality standards and services established by the company Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance Reports all concerns related to Engineering/Maintenance, Health and Safety, Security or Suspicious Circumstances (including smells/sights and sound) immediately to the appropriate leader. Willingness to assist other members of the lodge team when needed Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms: stayover and departure cleans Cleaning of staff and guest common areas and offices Tidy and restock of housekeeping carts and housekeeping rooms Assist our laundry attendant in washing, drying and ironing all resort and guest laundry Show dedication to making every guest feel welcome in our surroundings Must work in line with the safety and hygiene regulations set forth by Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing Respect guest privacy Handle all lost and found items according to company policy Bussing and resetting tables Hosting duties Serving tables (based on experience) Assisting in serving wedding functions, including setup and clean of table settings. Assisting guests with questions about the drink and food menu in an informative and helpful way Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Ensure the restaurant area is clean and tidy at all times Responsible for maintaining a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean and professional image with the ability to maintain a calm demeanour in a fast paced, high intensity environment Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Maintain set Health & Safety standards Follow the regulations set forth by the B.C.
