Security Guard – Marina Gatehouse Position Type: Full-Time Location: Toronto, ON Pay Rate: $21.00/hour Shifts: 2400-0800 Monday to Friday Requirement: 5-year residency in Canada (for RAIC clearance) Overview: We are currently seeking experienced and professional Security Guard for an assignment at a high-profile marine site in Toronto. This role requires confident individuals who can effectively manage challenging situations while maintaining a strong customer service presence. Key Responsibilities: Access Control: Conduct regular patrols of the marina and surrounding waterfront areas Patrols: Monitor and enforce site rules and regulations for all docked boaters De-escalation: Handle and de-escalate aggressive or non-compliant individuals. Professional Communication: Engage with the public in a professional and respectful manner Safety: Ensure safety and security of all vessels, property, and personnel Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate incident reports and daily activity logs Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies and security concerns Requirements: Experience in critical environments where decision making, and actions can impact life-safety and business continuity.
