Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for an experienced Project Development Manager – Industrial to play a key role in the continued growth of Allnorth's industrial business. This is a senior, client-facing position combining project development, project management, business development, and technical leadership. You understand the industrial market, can build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, and know how to take an opportunity from early conversations and pursuit strategy through proposal development and successful project delivery. Working closely with Operations and our Growth Team, you will help shape sector strategy, develop key accounts, build a strong pipeline of opportunities, and support our teams in delivering exceptional results for our clients. A Day in the Life Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key industrial clients and decision-makers. Identify, develop, and pursue new opportunities across pulp and paper, chemicals, energy and renewables, metals and minerals, and other industrial markets. Lead strategic pursuits, including proposal development, proposal writing, fee estimates, pricing, and client presentations. Lead early study and project development phases and remain engaged through project delivery. Develop strategic account plans and identify opportunities to expand Allnorth's services with existing clients. Work with Operations and the Growth Team to build and maintain a strong pipeline and support top-line revenue growth. Support project teams to ensure projects meet client expectations while managing commercial, quality, and delivery risks. Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and Engineers in project delivery, account management, and opportunity development. Support the identification and recruitment of strong technical and project leadership talent as the business grows. Represent Allnorth at industry events, conferences, and client meetings while maintaining a strong understanding of market trends and competitors. Collaborate across Allnorth offices and disciplines to bring the best team and solutions to our clients. What You’ll Bring to the Team Diploma of Technology or degree in an engineering or technical discipline related to Allnorth's services; P.Eng. preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering, project management, or project development within an industrial environment. Strong industry knowledge and established experience within industrial markets. Proven success developing client relationships and growing a portfolio of business within an engineering consulting environment. Demonstrated experience leading successful engineering proposals and strategic pursuits. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand a client's business challenges and develop solutions that create measurable value. Experience developing account strategies, negotiating commercial opportunities, and converting opportunities into work. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence multidisciplinary project teams. Strong judgment, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to balance client development with project delivery and broader business objectives. What’s in it for You?
