In this role, you will conduct a broad range of field surveys including construction layout, topographic, volumetric, and legal surveys. A Day in the Life Responsibilities include but are not limited: Setting up and maintaining survey control networks for project work Performing construction layout and staking in accordance with project drawings and specifications Conducting topographic, as-built and quantity surveys Completing volume calculations and quantity measurements Capturing, processing and reporting field survey data Supporting survey requirements across a variety of civil and construction projects What You’ll Bring to the Team Diploma in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Technology, or equivalent field training Previous construction surveying experience is an asset; new graduates are encouraged to apply 3D scanning experience is an asset Line Locate Experience is an asset Experience using AutoCAD's Civil 3D is an asset Registration as a Professional Survey Technologist is an asset Strong interpersonal and communication skills Technical competence and attention to detail A high level of dependability A driver’s license is required for this position What’s in it for you? The Surveyor will conduct various field surveys, including construction layout, topographic, and volumetric surveys. Responsibilities include maintaining survey control networks and processing field data for civil and construction projects.

Candidates must have a diploma in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Technology and a valid driver's license. Experience with Civil 3D, 3D scanning, and professional registration are considered assets.
