In this role, you will conduct a broad range of field surveys including construction layout, topographic, volumetric, and legal surveys. A Day in the Life Responsibilities include but are not limited: Setting up and maintaining survey control networks for project work Performing construction layout and staking in accordance with project drawings and specifications Conducting topographic, as-built and quantity surveys Completing volume calculations and quantity measurements Capturing, processing and reporting field survey data Supporting survey requirements across a variety of civil and construction projects What You’ll Bring to the Team Diploma in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Technology, or equivalent field training Previous construction surveying experience is an asset; new graduates are encouraged to apply 3D scanning experience is an asset Line Locate Experience is an asset Experience using AutoCAD's Civil 3D is an asset Registration as a Professional Survey Technologist is an asset Strong interpersonal and communication skills Technical competence and attention to detail A high level of dependability A driver’s license is required for this position What’s in it for you?
