Allshores is seeking a Controller, Benefits Operations to lead the organization’s financial control environment while overseeing key operational finance functions that support sustainable growth and strategic decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on financial leadership with a forward-looking transformation mandate. You will champion the modernization, standardization, automation, and scalability of finance processes, helping to build a high-performing finance function that enables innovation and operational excellence across the organization. Primary Responsibilitb Lead the end-to-end financial management and operational finance activities of OTH, ensuring the integrity, accuracy and completeness of all financial records and transactions across provider payments, vendor billing, vendor payments, payroll, cash management and financial close processes. Strengthen the financial control environment, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal control frameworks, and governance requirements while mitigating financial and operational risk. Drive operational excellence through the standardization, documentation and continuous improvement of finance processes, procedures, controls and service delivery models.ls. Champion a data-driven finance culture by improving the quality, accessibility, and use of financial and operational data. Translate data into high value, actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making for senior leadership. Develop and enhance management reporting, financial dashboards, KPIs and process metrics to improve visibility into business performance. Partner with business leaders to provide financial analysis, operational insights, and business case support for strategic initiatives, process improvements and operational changes. Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulators, coordinating audits, managing timelines, and resolving technical and reporting queries efficiently. Oversee cash management, bank account governance, funding requirements, and liquidity planning, ensuring appropriate controls and approval processes are maintained for cash movement and financial transactions. Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, including approval authority matrices, vendor governance processes, payment authorization controls, segregation of duties, and finance operational policies. Supervise, motivate, coach and develop the accounting team which includes encompassing career development, performance objectives, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Build, develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external clients, entities and vendors. Identify, prioritize and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and effectiveness across the Finance function, leveraging technology, automation and best practices in collaboration with the transformation team where appropriate. Qualifications and experience required: Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA or equivalent). Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, or Controllership, including responsibility for financial operations, financial controls, and financial reporting. A minimum of 4-6 years of leadership experience with direct responsibility for managing and developing finance teams. Strong knowledge of Great Plains. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practice. Proven experience strengthening internal controls, improving operational efficiency, implementing governance frameworks, and supporting audit readiness. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect financial performance to business strategy. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive change across multiple functions and levels of the organization. Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify risks, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions. intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent). Excellent communication skills (oral and written), which includes the ability to create strong relationships and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with roles across the organisation, including the Executive team. Demonstrated experience preparing and presenting board level documentation.
