Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner - Fulltime, Parttime, Temporary Contract, On-call Location: Nanaimo, BC Wage: $19.41 About the Role: We’re looking for reliable, conscientious individuals with who take pride in shiny clean spaces and to support our client by providing an essential service – keeping their workforce safe. If you understand the importance of Health & Safety, sanitation and cleanliness, we want to hear from you. What You Will Be Doing: Disinfecting all high touch point areas Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, elevators, etc. Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and windowsills Cleaning washrooms and check and replenish supplies when needed You have: Experience with heavy cleaning machinery is not required, but considered an asset Motivation and a willingness to work + learn Be eligible to obtain applicable security clearance(s) Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset We offer: Opportunities for growth & employee development A flexible and positive team environment About Alpine: Alpine has grown to become one of Canada’s leading janitorial and building maintenance service providers to over 2000 distinct facilities across Canada. Maintain cleanliness and safety by disinfecting high-touch areas and cleaning common spaces, bathrooms, and hallways. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and replenishing washroom supplies.

Exigences

Candidates must be reliable, motivated, and eligible to obtain necessary security clearances. While not required, experience with heavy cleaning machinery and knowledge of WHMIS are considered assets.
