QA Analyst Full time/permanent opportunity ***This is an in-office position, 5 days per week*** ***The office is in Mississauga, very close to the airport*** Desired Skills & Experience: Experience with XML and JSON files Editors such as Visual Studio Code, Altova or Sublime Jira Regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability Working knowledge of various testing methodologies and tools Continuous improvement mindset demonstrable through projects etc. Job Description: Creating test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures Documenting software defects, using a Jira bug tracking system, and reporting defects to software developers Identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with program function, output, online screen, or content Performing initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source Creating and or improving test plans that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability Documenting test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards Planning test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates Conducting software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments Testing system modifications to prepare for implementation Monitoring bug resolution efforts Reviewing software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks Investigating customer problems referred by technical support Conducting historical analyses of test results Base salary - $70,000 - $75,000 +Bonus If you're interested, please apply with resume.
