Senior Infrastructure Analyst

Location: Greater Toronto Area (Mostly Remote – occasional onsite visits may be required based on project needs) We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Analyst to join a growing IT Operations team responsible for supporting enterprise infrastructure across data centre and cloud environments. This role is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional with strong expertise in hybrid cloud technologies, virtualization, networking, systems administration, and infrastructure operations. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Operations & Support Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise server, storage, and infrastructure environments Support hybrid cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS Deploy and maintain virtual machines, enterprise applications, and core infrastructure services Monitor system health, capacity, and performance trends and recommend proactive improvements Support networking infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches Incident, Problem & Change Management Respond to infrastructure incidents, outages, and performance issues in accordance with established SLAs Conduct root cause analysis and support problem resolution activities Participate in change management and infrastructure lifecycle processes Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure operational excellence Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Administer enterprise backup and recovery solutions Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity initiatives Ensure infrastructure resiliency, availability, and data protection standards are maintained Security & Compliance Support patch management, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls and best practices Maintain endpoint protection, access controls, encryption, and identity management standards Ensure adherence to organizational policies, compliance requirements, and audit standards Infrastructure Projects & Continuous Improvement Contribute to infrastructure modernization initiatives including migrations, upgrades, and cloud transitions Support automation initiatives using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives Participate in infrastructure roadmap and operational improvement discussions Documentation & Governance Maintain technical documentation including diagrams, inventories, procedures, and SOPs Follow infrastructure standards, governance processes, and operational best practices Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix Strong understanding of networking concepts including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls Experience with enterprise storage and backup solutions Knowledge of identity and access management platforms including Entra ID (Azure AD) Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or Python Familiarity with ITSM frameworks, change management, and operational support processes Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments is considered an asset Preferred Certifications Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) AWS SysOps Administrator ITIL Certification Desired Skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong documentation and process discipline Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence

Manage and troubleshoot enterprise server, storage, and hybrid cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments. Ensure operational excellence through incident management, security hardening, and the implementation of disaster recovery strategies.

Requires over 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure with strong expertise in virtualization and networking. Proficiency in Windows Server, cloud platforms, and automation tools like PowerShell or Python is essential.
