Who You Are: We are currently seeking a Shop QA/QC in our fabrication shop in SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible). Positions are available for Weekday Shifts, Week Night Shifts, and Weekend Shifts. Possess CWB Level 1 Certification Have 2+ years of previous Quality Control experience Have Common Safety Orientation ticket Have a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices Show a proven commitment to Safety Have the ability to use tools and equipment safely Commitment to safety and adhering to all safe work practices and procedures Complete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel Record welders' symbols, heat numbers, and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets Prepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests Install name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors and Client TPI's Complete Quality Control paperwork Be able to work in a manufacturing facility with other trades present Have the ability to perform outside/inside work, sometimes in extreme weather conditions Meet the physical demands of the position Be able to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile, and be able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders Experience in welding and ASME equipment and piping is an asset #SJ

Exigences
Requires CWB Level 1 Certification, CSTS-09/2020 or Common Safety Orientation ticket, and at least 2 years of Quality Control experience. Must have a strong understanding of ASME and CSA codes and the physical ability to lift 60lbs and work at heights.
