Job Description AltaGas - Logistics Coordinator AltaGas is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Rail Logistics team. In this role, you'll help manage the movement of NGL products across North America by rail while working closely with operations, commercial teams, rail providers, and key business stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career logistics professional looking to build experience in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. What You'll Do: Support the day-to-day scheduling of NGL products (propane and butane) via rail between origins and destinations across North America. Communicate regularly with operations teams and third-party service providers to ensure NGL transportation needs are aligned with operational activities. Manage shipping documentation and Bills of Lading (BOL) for shipment tracking. Work collaboratively with commercial and operations teams to plan and execute product movements in the best interest of organizational execution and margin optimization. Work closely with accounting, finance, and Class 1 railroads to ensure accurate invoicing and payment. Maintain and manage logistics databases and related records. Monitor and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to NGL movements, including fleet utilization, cycle times, dwell times, and other transportation metrics. Exercise excellent professional judgment and maintain confidentiality at all times. Participate in some evening and weekend work as required. What You'll Bring: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or other post-secondary degree required. 0-3 years of experience with a focus on logistics in LPG, NGL, condensate, and/or crude markets required. Skills & Abilities: Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team-oriented environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail with proven time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills. Ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and data analysis skills. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and analyze multiple scenarios to solve complex business problems. Excellent interpretation and analysis of complex statistical data.
