Job Description AltaGas - Senior Partner, Talent & Leadership The Senior Partner, Talent & Leadership is responsible for shaping the organization's enterprise talent philosophy and leading the strategies, programs, and experiences that build leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, and future workforce readiness. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HR colleagues, this role drives the design and execution of enterprise talent strategies that strengthen leadership benches, accelerate the development of critical talent, and ensure the organization has the capabilities required to execute its long-term business strategy. This is an opportunity to help shape how AltaGas identifies, develops, and accelerates talent across the enterprise while strengthening the leadership and organizational capabilities needed for future success. What You'll Do Shape and evolve AltaGas' enterprise talent philosophy and strategies to strengthen leadership capability, succession depth, and future workforce readiness Lead enterprise talent and succession planning processes, helping leaders identify talent risks, strengthen bench strength, and accelerate the development of critical talent Partner with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and HR colleagues to build strong leadership teams and talent pipelines across the organization Design and evolve approaches to leadership development, internal mobility, career growth, and talent acceleration that support long-term business success Coach and influence leaders on leadership effectiveness, talent development, and building high-performing teams Own and continuously evolve AltaGas' leadership framework, ensuring leadership expectations and capabilities remain aligned to the business strategy Design and oversee leadership development experiences, including assessments, mentoring, coaching, peer learning, and development through work-based experiences Partner closely with Organizational Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Learning teams to identify future capability requirements and build talent strategies that support a future-ready workforce Monitor enterprise talent trends, succession strength, and capability gaps to inform talent priorities and investment decisions Foster an integrated approach where leadership, learning, succession, talent, skills, and capability development operate as a connected system What You'll Bring 10+ years of experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Human Resources, or related disciplines Experience shaping and implementing enterprise talent strategies within a complex organization A strong understanding of planning, leadership development, talent assessment, and talent acceleration practices Demonstrated success influencing and partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders to drive talent and business outcomes Strong business acumen with the ability to connect business priorities to talent, leadership, and capability needs Experience designing, building, and evolving talent programs, frameworks, or strategies in dynamic and evolving environments Exceptional relationship-building, consulting, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority Experience with skills architecture, capability frameworks, workforce planning, or learning strategy is considered an asset Why Join AltaGas Help shape the future of talent and leadership at AltaGas by defining the strategies, experiences, and capabilities that will strengthen leadership benches and prepare the organization for long-term success Partner with senior leaders, HR leadership, and executive stakeholders to drive talent decisions that have a meaningful impact across the organization Join a team that is strengthening and evolving its talent practices, offering the opportunity to create, enhance, and implement solutions that will have a lasting impact on the business For Canadian hires: AltaGas hires personnel on the basis of job-related qualifications.
