Role Description The Supply Chain Technical / Functional Lead is a contract role based in Markham, ON with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with flexibility to work from home. This role leads day-to-day supply chain operations and initiatives, including overseeing inventory processes, optimizing supply chain workflows, and supporting functional design and configuration of supply chain systems. The Lead partners with internal stakeholders and client teams to analyze data, identify process improvements, and ensure accurate and efficient inventory and supply management across the organization. Responsibilities include documenting requirements, supporting implementation and testing of solutions, troubleshooting system and process issues, and providing guidance and training to users. The role also involves preparing reports, communicating findings and recommendations to leadership, and ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Inventory Management and Inventory Control to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and optimization of stock levels. Candidates should possess experience in Supply Chain Management and Supply Management to oversee end-to-end supply processes and vendor interactions. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, document requirements, and present insights and recommendations. Experience in leading or supporting technical and functional aspects of supply chain systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) is beneficial. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to turn insights into actionable improvements. Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in consulting or project-based settings. Relevant post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in supply chain or logistics are an asset.
