Work site environment Dusty Noisy Responsibilities Tasks Coordinate use of pulping, papermaking and papercoating process equipment Operate and monitor pulping, papermaking and papercoating process equipment Analyze equipment readings and production test samples Complete and maintain production reports Control process operations and machinery Control the processing of wood, scrap pulp and other cellulose materials Direct other pulping, papermaking and finishing machine operators to make adjustments to pulp production, papermaking and coating process and equipment Ensure pulp processes are operating within prescribed production limits Ensure pulping, papermaking and coating processes are operating according to process specifications Make paper and coat paper products from pulp stock, mix chemicals and dyes Observe instruments from central control room to detect equipment malfunctions Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Personal suitability Efficient interpersonal skills Organized Team player Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Health care plan

Operate and monitor pulping, papermaking, and papercoating equipment from a central control room to ensure production limits and specifications are met. Coordinate process operations, analyze equipment readings, and direct other operators to make necessary adjustments.

Requires a secondary school graduation certificate and between 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be able to work in a dusty and noisy environment with strong attention to detail.
