This role involves supervising a team of receiving clerks, managing receiving operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of receiving clerks. Ensure efficient and accurate processing of incoming shipments. Verify and reconcile purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices. Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies. Manage inventory levels and cycle counts. Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies. Train new employees on receiving procedures and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area. Implement process improvements to enhance receiving efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. QualificationsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in receiving or warehouse operations. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in computer systems and inventory management software. Ability to lift heavy objects. Attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Forklift operator certification. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
