Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Service Technician located in Toronto, ON. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced industrial machinery and automation systems used in aluminum and panel fabrication. Daily tasks will include diagnosing technical issues, performing system upgrades, writing detailed service reports, and providing training to operators on equipment usage. Additionally, the role requires regular travel to client sites and close collaboration with both customers and team members to deliver exceptional service and solutions. Qualifications Technical expertise in machinery troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair Experience in automation systems, including integrating, operating, and maintaining such technologies Skills in mechanical assembly, electrical systems, and diagnostics Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational abilities Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and drawings Familiarity with digital tools, software for machinery operation, and diagnostics Effective communication and customer service skills to guide and assist clients Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region Educational background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering fields or equivalent hands-on experience Auto-cad and solid work experience is an asset Attention to details and team working skills is must Experience in the manufacturing or aluminum fabrication industry is an asset
