How You’ll Make an Impact Report to the director, Corporate Communications. Work closely with your social counterpart in Marketing to lead strategic planning for AMA’s social media, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and project-specific objectives. Create engaging, high-quality content that adheres to AMA’s brand voice while keeping up with trends and best practices in the social space. Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to achieve our KPIs. Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Marketing and Creative Agency to align messaging and coordinate campaigns in support of our overarching content strategy. Support brand management by ensuring all social media content is consistent with AMA brand guidelines and has been adapted as necessary to suit different platforms and audiences. Support crisis mitigation and reputation management by monitoring online brand sentiment and managing responses to potential escalations. Lead social listening with a sense of urgency, proactively identifying strategic opportunities to engage with members and Albertans. What You Bring to the Table You have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media or related field. You have at least 6 years’ experience in social media management that includes work in a corporate environment. If you’ve led large-scale social campaigns, you’ll have an edge over the competition. You have demonstrated success in creating and executing social media strategies across platforms. You have advanced knowledge of social media analytics and tools. Bonus points if you’re familiar with Hootsuite and Google Analytics. You’re familiar with SEO, content marketing, and digital PR strategies.
