Golang Back-end Developer

Level 2 : Intermediate (2-5 years) Montreal : onsite 3x/week from Day 1 What you'll do You'll join our growing HashiVault squad, part of our strategy to offer more services and a better client experience in cybersecurity. The squad has run build-and-run for 5 years across North America, Europe, and India. We're looking for a fungible developer to help sustain the ownership and independence culture already in place. Your responsibilities: Design and develop new features, tooling, and automations for security controls Implement tooling or AI agents for vulnerability analysis, cyber resiliency, service delivery, and DevOps tasks Build testing frameworks and suites Participate in on-call rotation Support remediation against security findings, automation, and observability Enforce architectural standards and product guidelines Develop new integrations and onboard tools with Technology teams Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies Share knowledge and contribute to best-practice cross-pollination across the squad and Data Protection Services What we're looking for 3+ years backend/full-stack Golang experience, including REST APIs and microservices 2+ years of Kubernetes experience, including Helm 2+ years on Azure, AWS, or GCP Solid skills in AI-enhanced software design and development Excellent verbal and written communication, collaborative approach Nice to have: HashiCorp products (Vault, Terraform) AI agent development (MCP, A2A, Vector DBs) Retry patterns, Circuit breakers, Idempotency, Service discovery, API gateways CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) Infrastructure as Code / Configuration as Code Reliability practices (SLOs, incident response, observability engineering) Cybersecurity practices (encryption at rest/in transit, secret management, CVE remediation, auth, PKI) Note Onsite in Montreal, 3x/week, from Day 1 Part of an international team (North America, Europe, India) — participation in meetings, training, or projects conducted in English Why choose us An international community bringing together more than 110 different nationalities An environment where trust is central: 70% of our leaders started their careers at the entry level A strong training system with our internal Academy and more than 250 modules available A dynamic work environment that frequently comes together for internal events (afterworks, team buildings, etc.) Amaris Consulting promotes equal opportunities. Requires 3+ years of Golang experience with REST APIs and microservices, along with 2+ years of experience in Kubernetes and major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Candidates should have solid skills in AI-enhanced software development and excellent communication abilities.
