Job Description We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Montréal-Est. Reporting to the Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for safely handling and moving materials using a forklift. The incumbent will also ensure the quality of the materials handled and contribute to the smooth operation of daily activities. What You Will Be Responsible For : Inspect the forklift at the beginning of each shift and report any issues; Load and unload trailers and other transport vehicles; Safely move materials using a forklift; Prepare orders according to established procedures; Supply the sorting area to ensure continuous operations; Support the sorter by placing materials on pallets or in boxes; Identify materials and enter data into the system to ensure inventory accuracy. Qualifications To join our team : You have a valid and up-to-date forklift operator certification; You have at least 1 year of forklift operating experience; You work safely and follow health and safety standards; You are physically fit and comfortable performing manual work; You are comfortable working in an industrial environment, both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions; You are responsible, resourceful, punctual, and enjoy working as part of a team; You are able to manage priorities and adapt to operational needs. Ce que vous ferez
The operator is responsible for safely moving materials using a forklift and loading/unloading transport vehicles. They must also ensure inventory accuracy by identifying materials and entering data into the system.
Exigences
Candidates must possess a valid forklift operator certification and at least one year of experience. Physical fitness and the ability to work in all weather conditions in an industrial setting are required.
