Job Summary: RTDS Technologies Inc. are seeking to fill an Assembly Technician position who will participate in the assembly of the RTDS digital real-time power system simulator. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical component assembly, the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team, and a commitment to meeting our high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Under the direction of the Production Manager, assemble RTDS cubicles, enclosures and other housings. * Advise Production Manager of assembly problems, including but not limited to * Poor quality or improper components * Assemblies that are difficult to complete * Unsafe wiring arrangements * Participate in cubicle, enclosure or housing related support issues. * Be familiar with the setup and installation of RTDS main and I/O boards. * Participate in the production aspects of new product cubicles, enclosures and housings. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * C.E.T Certification, or equivalent certification/experience (Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Engineering Technology) * Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field * Hands on work experience with electrical component assembly & board testing * Willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team * Experience with soldering, testing, maintenance, & repair of electrical/electronic hardware, peripherals and software * Experience with circuit boards Deadline to apply: September 25, 2026 What's in it for you? * Competitive compensation and paid time off * Great benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, and fitness reimbursement program * Employee Assistance Program * Group Retirement Savings with Company Match * Costco membership * Every day free parking, and free parking for Princess Auto Stadium events * Maternity and parental wage supplement and more! The Assembly Technician will assemble RTDS digital real-time power system simulators, including cubicles, enclosures, and housings. They are also responsible for advising the Production Manager on assembly issues and participating in support for new product development.

Candidates must hold a C.E.T. certification or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical component assembly, soldering, and circuit board testing is required.
