Mechanical Designer Position Summary: The Mechanical Designer will focus on product design and development. This role drives product innovation, improves engineering methods, and ensures the successful execution of technical projects. It requires an ability to take assigned tasks and projects, understand the requirements, and execute on it without direct support through the process. Product Design & Development Prepare CAD technical packages, including 3D models and detailed drafting. Lead and participate in design reviews and Design for X (DFX) evaluations, such as Design for Manufacture (DFM). Propose, implement, and document design changes and process improvements. Technical Support & Collaboration Provide engineering support to the production and product support teams to resolve manufacturing and service challenges. Assist marketing, sales, and business development teams with modeling, rendering, and drafting services. Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and durability. Quality Assurance Review and assess team members’ work for accuracy and completeness Help standardize and improve design procedures and best practices. Extra Job Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 4+ years of product development experience. Proficiency in Autodesk Suite (Vault, Inventor) or similar CAD software. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to lead projects, mentor engineers, and translate concepts into reality. Considered an Asset: P.Eng license Experience in heavy construction attachment design and metal fabrication. Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Experience with mobile hydraulics and welded structure design (AWS, CWB, or ISO 2553). Schedule: Full time Monday to Friday in office Competitive benefit package

Exigences

Requires a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with over 4 years of product development experience. Proficiency in Autodesk Suite is required, while a P.Eng license and FEA experience are considered assets.
