AI Developer

Title: AI Developer Location: Onsite at any nearby Infosys office Job Type: Contract Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-enabled applications and intelligent software solutions. • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python. • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications. • Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and embedding models. • Work with prompt engineering techniques to optimize AI model performance. • Develop and consume RESTful APIs for AI services and enterprise integrations. • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and solution architects. • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices. • Participate in code reviews, debugging, unit testing, and performance optimization. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment in cloud environments. • Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application reliability and scalability. • Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 2–5 years of software development experience. • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including: o Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) o Data Structures & Algorithms o Design Patterns o SOLID Principles o Clean Code Practices o Version Control (Git) • Intermediate proficiency in Python. • Experience developing REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
