ABOUT THE ROLE The Inside Sales and Logistics Representative is responsible for selling company products to defined customer segments, supporting other sales representatives, and supporting the Regional Sales Director for the Greater Montreal market area. Additionally, the role includes a logistics component where the representative supports the customer service and logistics department to enhance revenue, billing efficiency, and customer management regarding new online ordering and tracking tools. Responsible for selling ready-to-use aggregates to a defined customer segment and demonstrating expertise in generating new sales when opportunities are identified. The Inside Sales Representative manages sales to current customers while actively developing new business. They will maintain a strong understanding of products, delivery impact, and customer business requirements to translate unmet needs into sales opportunities (COD, small orders, aggregate block product line, small & medium-sized projects and accounts). WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH Answer general customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and job-site applications while identifying solutions through technical questioning. Process Cash-On-Delivery (COD) transactions and ensure accounts receivable under responsibility are collected on time. Direct customer inquiries for aggregates as well as other business divisions (cement, solutions & innovations). Serve as 100% account manager for the aggregate block product line, driving revenue optimization in this segment. Prospect new small and medium-sized accounts (cold calling) in target sectors and build strong relationships. Handle pricing requests for ready-to-use aggregates across Greater Montreal and the Laurentians (COD, block products, small/medium accounts, inactive accounts). Monitor and reconcile aggregate block product inventory levels across market facilities alongside site managers. Analyze delivery data from Command Batch systems to prepare customer dispute resolution and negotiations. Promote the adoption of online and mobile ordering tools to active clients and establish targeted action plans for optimization. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Education: Post-secondary diploma (DEC or college diploma) Field of Study Preferred: Civil Engineering background is an asset Required Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the construction materials sector or a related field (sales or customer support) Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Salesforce, SAP, Command Batch Travel Requirements: 10% Additional Requirements: Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of English is required, as the incumbent must communicate regularly with clients and suppliers of goods and/or services along with team members or support functions outside Quebec. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
