Patient Support Specialist (Bilingual French)– Remote (Canada) Location: Remote – Anywhere in Canada Contract: Minimum 3 Months (Potential Extension) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (Flexible to 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST) Positions Available Bilingual (English/French) – Strong spoken and written French required. Position Summary We are seeking compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Support Specialists to join a national Patient Support Program. The successful candidates will support patients throughout the reimbursement and renewal process by conducting outbound calls, assisting with public payer registration, documenting patient interactions, and maintaining accurate records within Salesforce. Candidates with experience in pharmacy, healthcare, patient support programs, reimbursement coordination, insurance navigation, or specialty pharmacy are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Contact patients to complete therapy-specific renewal questionnaires. Conduct outbound follow-up calls until required questionnaires and registrations are completed. Guide patients through public payer registration processes and obtain confirmation/reference numbers. Update patient records, reimbursement information, questionnaires, and case notes within Salesforce. Document all patient interactions accurately while following established SOPs and privacy requirements. Provide empathetic, professional, and patient-focused support over the phone. Coordinate with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, insurers, and internal teams as required. Ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-up to facilitate uninterrupted patient access to therapy. Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Patient Support Programs (PSP) Specialty Pharmacy Pharmacy Healthcare Customer Service Reimbursement Coordination Insurance Navigation Case Management Experience handling inbound and outbound patient calls. Strong patient communication and active listening skills. Experience documenting patient interactions within Salesforce or another CRM system. Knowledge of reimbursement processes, insurance verification, or public payer registration. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Pharmacy Technician, Nursing, Medical Office Administration, Health Sciences, or other healthcare-related education. Salesforce CRM experience. Experience supporting reimbursement programs within the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of provincial drug plans and Canadian reimbursement processes. Experience coordinating with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies. Technical Skills Salesforce CRM (preferred) Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) CRM documentation and case management systems Data entry and patient record management Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Empathy and professionalism Strong customer service orientation Time management and organization Critical thinking and problem-solving Ability to manage multiple patient cases simultaneously Language Requirements Bilingual Positions Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
