POSITION SUMMARY: Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services is seeking a highly organized and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the Agency’s administrative, facilities, property, fleet, procurement, and capital asset operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Operations Manager works closely with Finance, Information Technology, program leadership, vendors, landlords, and service providers to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations. This position provides leadership and supervision to administrative, reception, maintenance, and capital asset staff, ensuring that operational services align with Agency policies, procedures, First Nation mandates, applicable legislation, and culturally respectful service delivery. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to assigned staff. • Establish priorities and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. • Oversee daily office and administrative operations. • Ensure effective administrative systems and communication processes. • Oversee capital asset management and inventory tracking. • Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance. • Manage leases, vendors, and procurement processes. • Support financial tracking and operational reporting. • Oversee fleet coordination and office supply management. • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards. • Maintain strong relationships with staff, communities, and partners. • Maintain confidentiality and participate in continuous improvement. QUALIFICATIONS: • Relevant diploma or degree or equivalent experience. • Minimum five (5) years of related experience. • Supervisory experience preferred. • Knowledge of operations, facilities, procurement, and asset management. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence. • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check required. WORKING CONDITIONS: Office-based with travel to Agency locations. Requires flexibility, occasional physical tasks, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Exigences

Requires a relevant diploma or degree with at least five years of related experience and supervisory experience preferred. Must possess a valid Ontario G Driver's Licence and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
