About The Position We are seeking a proactive, organized, and adaptable HR Generalist to join our team at our North York corporate office. This role is a key member of the People & Culture function and will provide end-to-end HR support across the organization. The ideal candidate is resourceful, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who can balance day-to-day HR operations while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism. Reporting directly to the Director of HR, the HR Generalist will play a key role in maintaining a positive employee experience while supporting the business through efficient and confidential HR practices. Main Duties & Responsibilities General Collaborates effectively with co-workers across departments Consistently arrives at work, appointments, meetings, and events on time Writes clearly and informatively and edits work for spelling and grammar Maintains confidentiality and security of business and patient information Handles expected share of workload at required quality level (productivity) Complies with policies and protocols, as amended from time to time Completes all required training to perform job duties effectively Role-Specific Provide support across all areas of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance. Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, ensuring a positive employee experience and promoting a healthy workplace culture. Maintain and safeguard employee records with the utmost confidentiality. Support HR projects and initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency, culture, and engagement. Recruitment & Onboarding Manage full-cycle recruitment, including drafting and posting job descriptions, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and support the selection process. Prepare and issue employment offers, contracts, and onboarding documentation. Facilitate smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a positive first-day experience. Employee Relations & Offboarding Act as a first point of contact for employee relations, escalating issues to the HR Manager/Director as appropriate. Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and best practices. Support employee engagement activities and initiatives that foster a positive culture. Manage offboarding process including exit interviews, documentation, and system updates. HR Administration & Operations Maintain company asset records and monitor inventory of onboarding equipment and supplies. Maintain the employee communication SharePoint site to ensure information is accurate, current, and accessible. Maintain employee files with accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare HR reports and track metrics to support decision-making. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Leverage MS365 Suite, Teams, and workflow automation tools to improve HR processes. Administer the performance management process and ensure accurate and timely documentation. Support special projects and HR initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager/Director. Maintain HRIS data accuracy and integrity. Track employee leaves, attendance, accommodation requests, and return-to-work processes. Support payroll administration through accurate maintenance of employee data and documentation. Support workforce planning, organizational growth initiatives, succession planning, and talent retention efforts. Training & Development Coordinate training programs and learning initiatives. Maintain training records and compliance certifications. Assist with leadership development and employee growth programs. Compensation & Benefits Administer employee benefits enrollment and changes. Support salary benchmarking and market research. Assist with annual compensation review processes. Compliance & Employment Legislation Ensure compliance with the Employment Standards Act (ESA), Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA), Human Rights Code, AODA, and company policies. Support policy development, implementation, communication, and ongoing compliance monitoring. Assist with workplace investigations and employee concerns as required. HR Projects Support employee engagement surveys and action plans. Participate in HR system implementations and process improvement initiatives. Assist with workforce planning and organizational development projects. Qualifications And Requirements 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and HR operations. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR Diploma or Degree). Equivalent experience will be considered. CHRP designation completed or in progress is considered an asset. Proficiency with MS365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and workflow automation. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work with high autonomy, integrity, and confidentiality. Strong work ethic, initiative-driven, and adaptable to changing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools; Canva experience is an asset. Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and varying degrees of experience Thoroughness and keen attention to detail Success In This Role Will Be Measured By Successful recruitment and onboarding outcomes.
