Overview APEX is seeking a Process Improvement and Business Systems Specialist for its Custom Contract Manufacturing Group, reporting directly to the Group Manager. This position is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives, developing and optimizing business processes, integrating systems and workflows across departments, and establishing standardized methods that enhance operational efficiency, quality, productivity, and customer outcomes. The role serves as a key link between operations, technology, and business functions, ensuring sustainable process excellence and supporting overall organizational effectiveness across the group. Responsibilities Analyze processes and develop future-state process models. Establish process governance, standards, and best practices. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and facilitate corrective actions. Identify operational inefficiencies and develop improvement plans. Ensure process scalability and alignment with organizational objectives. Drive process automation and new technology opportunities. Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders for system enhancements. Coordinate testing, implementation, and change management activities. Support digital transformation initiatives and enterprise system deployments. Develop standardized work methods and operational frameworks. Manage cross-functional improvement and systems integration projects. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change adoption. Qualifications Degree of diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field. Five or more years of relevant experience in manufacturing. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methods. Experience with ERP, CRM or workflow systems. Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
