Job#: 3041573 Job Description: Systems Analyst (Cerner) – 8-Month Contract (Remote) About The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support the ongoing enhancement and sustainment of critical clinical systems used across a large healthcare environment. This role will focus on workflow analysis, system configuration, implementation support, and issue resolution within a Cerner ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare IT professional who has deep experience supporting surgical and clinical applications and enjoys working closely with operational and technical stakeholders to improve patient-care workflows. Contract Details Title: Systems Analyst Duration: 8-Month Contract Location: Remote (Must be located in Canada) Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities Analyze and document clinical workflows and system requirements. Update and maintain Data Collection Workbooks (DCWs) and related project documentation. Perform impact assessments and manage work items through Jira. Configure, build, and validate system changes across multiple application domains. Support implementation activities, including testing, cutover planning, go-live support, and post-implementation stabilization. Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with technical and operational teams to resolve system challenges. Participate in change management, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Strong experience supporting Cerner clinical applications in a healthcare environment. Extensive knowledge of Surgical Patient Registry (SPR) and related downstream interfaces. Thorough understanding of surgical workflows, inventory management, items, and equipment configurations. Strong experience with both front-end and back-end Cerner systems. Proven experience supporting Cerner implementations, upgrades, and system builds. Experience performing workflow analysis, impact assessments, and requirements validation. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting complex clinical integrations and interface environments. Previous experience working within large healthcare organizations. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and project-based work environments.
