🚨 HIRING: Senior Backend Python Developer | Toronto, ON We're looking for a Senior Backend Python Developer to join a team building secure, scalable, high-performance platforms for a core banking environment, candidates who have hands-on experience building production web applications/platforms with Python as their primary backend language. 📍 Toronto, ON | (5 days On-site) 🔥 What we're looking for: ✅ Strong professional Python backend development ✅ 5+ years software development experience ✅ Django / Flask / FastAPI or similar Python frameworks ✅ Microservices & distributed systems ✅ RESTful API development ✅ SQL & MySQL ✅ Strong understanding of transactions, isolation levels, locking & deadlocks ✅ RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems ✅ Docker / containerized applications ✅ Git / GitHub ✅ Linux / Unix ✅ System design & technical design ✅ Experience owning features end-to-end ⭐ Nice to have: • Banking / Financial Services / FinTech • AWS / Azure / GCP • High-volume transaction processing • Payroll integrations • Time & Attendance platforms 🚀 What you'll work on: 🔹 Design and build scalable Python backend services 🔹 Develop distributed microservices and REST APIs 🔹 Design solutions for high-volume transaction processing 🔹 Own initiatives from technical design → development → production 🔹 Optimize performance and reliability 🔹 Participate in architecture and system-design discussions 🔹 Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers 🔹 Work closely with product, engineering and cross-functional teams 📩 Interested or know someone who would be a great fit?
