Our client is seeking an experienced Data Modeler to join a high-profile consulting engagement supporting international manufacturing clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex enterprise data initiatives, partnering with senior stakeholders to design scalable data models that drive business intelligence and reporting. Benefits & Perks Competitive contract rate of $95–$120/hour Initial contract through mid-December with strong extension potential Opportunity to work with globally recognized manufacturing clients Hybrid work model (3 days onsite in Georgetown, ON; 2 days remote) Exposure to large-scale enterprise data transformation initiatives Collaborative, consulting-focused environment with senior-level stakeholders Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise data models to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. Create logical and physical data models, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), and detailed data documentation. Design dimensional models using Kimball methodology, including Star Schema architectures. Define table structures, relationships, keys, and joins to ensure data integrity and performance. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions. Provide strategic guidance and challenge assumptions to help stakeholders identify the best data architecture and modeling approach. Work closely with SAP data sources to support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives. Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute to overall data strategy and governance. Qualifications 8+ years of experience as a Data Modeler in enterprise environments. Strong experience working with SAP data. Expert knowledge of Kimball dimensional modeling and Star Schema design. Proven experience creating: Enterprise data models Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) Table relationships, keys, and joins Experience designing data models for enterprise analytics and reporting solutions. Strong consulting mindset with the confidence to advise stakeholders and recommend best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have Experience supporting SAP migration projects. Experience within manufacturing environments. Exposure to Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms is considered a strong asset.
