Controls Systems Designer

Kitchener Full-Time, Permanent, Benefits, Paid OT, and Profit Sharing/Bonus. Our growing integration automation client is recruiting for a key member for their controls team, a senior automation controls designer. You will lead industrial automation projects from conception to completion, design and develop world-class automation solutions by contributing to machine concepts, design of controls software, integration of software with electrical and mechanical systems, and process development. You will work with leading-edge technologies and processes utilizing PLCs, HMI’s, PCs, robotics, motion controllers, drives, vision systems, lasers, and other controllers. You have programmed PLCs and HMI's, and you can also commission & troubleshoot and spearhead projects. You have 5 years of experience designing and programming control systems in a custom automation environment, an engineering degree or diploma specializing in mechanical or electrical systems, or computer science
