Applied Industrial Flooring Canada is a full-service contractor specializing in epoxy, polyurethane and resinous floor coatings, concrete polishing, resurfacing, crack injections, slab stabilization and lifting, and waterproofing sealants/coatings for vehicular and pedestrian traffic-bearing surfaces across Canada. Since 1975, the company has built strong industry experience and continues to provide safe, durable, clean, and productive flooring solutions for industrial and commercial clients. The company is also in the process of transitioning to its new business name, AppliedeX, while continuing to provide the same specialized flooring services to clients across Canada. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our Toronto team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional results on every project. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by cleaning, grinding, and repairing as needed. Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered Apply epoxy coatings, urethane systems, polished concrete finishes, and other industrial flooring applications according to project specifications. Use appropriate tools and equipment to ensure smooth, uniform, and high-quality application. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Conduct quality inspections to ensure durability, adhesion, and long-term integrity of installed flooring systems. Inspect and repair damaged or worn floor coverings when required. Provide excellent customer service and address any questions or concerns from clients. Qualifications: Secondary School Diploma Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Flooring Installer Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, including grinding and patching Knowledge of epoxy coatings and application methods Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines Experience operating flooring equipment and tools safely and efficiently Compensation: Permanent, Full-time position Occasional shifts and weekend work may be required $30.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week Overtime may be required and will be paid at 1.5 of your regular hourly rate after 44 hours per week Extended Health, Dental and Vision Care Benefits Life Insurance Head Office Location: 3290 Caroga Dr, Mississauga, ON L4V 1L4 Job Location: Various sites in the GTA How to apply: Please apply by email to appliedflooring.hr@outlook.com with your resume and indicate “Flooring Installer” in the Subject line.
