Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer

Position: Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer Location: Toronto, ON (4 days hybrid) Contract: Long Term About the Role We're looking for a Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help shape the financial future of the next generation. You'll work closely with product and design to translate concepts into clean, production-ready code that serves thousands of young users. This is an ideal role for developers who want to see their work immediately impact customers. Required: Develop and maintain user-facing features using React Native and TypeScript with a NestJS backend Collaborate with product and design teams to create polished interfaces, from UX/design to technical API implementation Design, build, and maintain reusable component libraries that scale across the platform Contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions, performance optimization, and system design Help define and champion development best practices, leading by example and elevating team excellence Own complex deliverables across the complete development lifecycle, from concept to production Be comfortable being part of an on-call rotation, driving and supporting incident remediation, and recommending and implementing improvements Proven expertise in TypeScript, NestJS, React Native, and Expo Strong backend skills with PostgreSQL and TypeORM Solid experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest) Proven track record of delivering ownership of complex, scalable systems Deep consideration for maintainability, testability, performance, and scalability in your code Experience building complex user flows and polished user interfaces Senior-level judgment with architectural opinions and technical perspective Payments or financial services domain knowledge Nice to Have: Detox for end-to-end testing AWS cloud infrastructure experience Figma for design collaboration

Develop and maintain user-facing features using React Native and NestJS while collaborating with product and design teams. Own complex deliverables across the full development lifecycle and participate in an on-call rotation for incident remediation.

Requires proven expertise in TypeScript, NestJS, React Native, and PostgreSQL with a strong track record of delivering scalable systems. Senior-level architectural judgment and experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Vitest are essential.
