Team members work with customers across diverse industries, contributing to cleaner water and improved environmental outcomes. Role Description The Field Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role involves visiting customer locations to install, maintain, and troubleshoot water treatment systems and related equipment. The technician will perform routine water monitoring and analysis, collect and interpret test data, and support resin evaluation activities. Daily responsibilities include documenting service activities, preparing reports, and communicating findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, proper handling of chemicals and equipment, and occasional on-call or after-hours support as needed. Qualifications Technical skills in mechanical or electrical systems, with experience servicing industrial or commercial equipment. Ability to perform water monitoring, sampling, and basic laboratory or field testing, with strong attention to detail. Customer service and communication skills to explain technical information clearly and build professional relationships. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, including accurate documentation and report writing. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Area to customer sites. Knowledge of water treatment processes, chemistry, or environmental science is an asset. Previous field service experience in industrial, utilities, or facilities environments is preferred. Diploma or degree in a technical discipline (e.g., environmental technology, engineering technology, industrial maintenance) or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment, following all company and regulatory safety standards.
