Résumé du poste

About the role The Junior Scrum Master at Arabian Private Holdings provides the structural support necessary to maintain project rhythm during high-stakes mandates. Working directly with our project teams for a major Canadian financial institution, this role ensures that workflows remain clear and obstacles are addressed quickly. You will act as a facilitator who helps the team maintain a steady pace toward delivering strategic advice and governance updates. About Arabian Private Holdings Arabian Private Holdings operates on the belief that significant business challenges require the attention of experienced principals rather than large teams of junior associates. We focus on providing honest, independent advice and portfolio clarity to family groups, listed corporations, and government entities. Our approach is defined by logical rigor and a preference for plain language over traditional consulting methodologies. As a remote firm, we prioritize the quality of our analysis and the strength of our client relationships over the overhead of a physical office. We only take on mandates where we can provide a direct view and stay involved until results are delivered. What you will do Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups and regular team check-ins to ensure everyone is aligned on current tasks. Identify blockers or logistical hurdles and work with the team to resolve them before they impact deadlines. Maintain project backlogs and documentation with a focus on written precision and clarity. Research and suggest improvements to our agile internal processes to better support our client, a major Canadian financial institution. Assist in coordinating communication between project pods to maintain an efficient operating model. Prepare status updates for the principals that provide a clear view of progress and potential risks. Support the drafting of governance reports by ensuring all data and milestones are accurately recorded. Track team performance metrics to help the firm understand where capacity can be better allocated. What we are looking for A high level of clarity in both written and spoken communication. Initial exposure to agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban through university projects or internships. The ability to organize complex schedules and manage multiple items without losing focus. Curiosity about how large financial institutions manage their internal transitions and operating models. A logical mindset that looks for the simplest solution to a problem. Discipline to work effectively in a fully remote environment without constant supervision. How we work Our firm functions as a decentralized team, which requires every member to communicate with intentionality and directness. Because we are fully remote, we rely on digital tools and clear documentation to keep our mandates on track. Mentoring happens naturally through collaboration, as junior staff work directly with the principals responsible for the outcome of the project. There is no room for corporate jargon here: we value the ability to form a view based on evidence and defend it with logic. This model allows us to focus entirely on the work and the impact it has for our clients. What the role offers Direct involvement in a significant project for a major Canadian financial organization. A competitive salary that is attractive for an entry-level position in the professional services market. Professional development through continuous interaction with experienced firm partners. The flexibility of a permanent, fully remote role that values results over time spent at a desk. Exposure to some of the most complex corporate governance and strategy questions in the region.
