Support contract and vendor reviews from a compliance perspective (e.g., third-party risk, outsourcing considerations), coordinating with the Director and/or external counsel where needed. Draft, update, and socialize compliance policies and procedures (e.g., code of conduct, conflicts of interest, complaints, third-party oversight, privacy). Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness materials; track completion and maintain training records. Promote a “compliance-by-design” approach through proactive engagement and practical guidance to the first line. Execute and/or coordinate compliance monitoring and testing activities (e.g., market conduct, claims/underwriting practices, distribution oversight, advertising review). Support the intake, assessment, documentation, and escalation of compliance issues; assist with root cause analysis and corrective action plans. Track remediation progress, maintain evidence of closure, and support internal audit activities and compliance attestations as required.
