Job Description ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is hiring for a Light Maintenance Worker for a remote lodge near Fort McMurray, AB. Strong janitorial experience and a familiarity with remote camp work is required, familiarity with custodial work. Cleanliness is a necessity of every business. As a Light Maintenance Worker on our team, you’ll take on the important job of keeping our operations and locations clean, so that our customers can stay happy and healthy. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs Comprehensive benefit packages are offered. Transportation is provided out of Edmonton, AB to site. Rotation are 20 days on/10 days off. Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check Job Responsibilities Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers. Adaptable to customer needs. Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc. Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition. Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures. Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate. Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools. Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience preferred Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The Light Maintenance Worker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the remote lodge facility to ensure a clean and healthy environment for guests. They will also perform routine repairs on fixtures, hardware, and appliances while adhering to safety protocols.

Candidates should have previous maintenance and janitorial experience and be comfortable working in a remote camp setting. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a criminal background check.
