Learn more about us on our website at https://landseacamps.com/ About Working in Remote Camps Our camps are located in remote areas and staff live on-site on scheduled shifts and leave camp on scheduled breaks. Most of our LandSea camps offer individual staff accommodation, ensuite or shared bathroom, full meals, WIFI and some have health/gym facilities for staff. Camp staff work long hours and multiple days in a row. A typical workday is between 10-12 hours (day or night shift) and overtime rates apply. Health and Safety and a Respectful Workplace are essential for everyone working together at LandSea. Our camps are drug and alcohol-free workplaces and require pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. The 3rd Cook role combines food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean, efficient workstation. About the Job, Benefits and Perks TERM position starting August 8th and ending August 21st, 2026 Wages starting between $18.98 to $22.06 per hour Overtime pay Schedule: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts depending on operational needs Travel Subsidy may be available for inbound and outbound travel Meals and accommodation while working on site Partial uniform is provided Footwear allowance may be available Company and team building events Opportunities for continued employment based on performance Camp Location This camp is remote and located approx. 5 hours North of Terrace, BC. Our team organizes all logistics and travel for employees to get to and from camp.Job Responsibilities Prepare all food items using prep lists and standard LandSea recipes. Assemble sandwiches, wraps, and salads following recipes, portion standards, and customer requests. Follow hygiene standards, maintain proper food storage, and comply with health regulations. Clean and sanitize prep areas, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift. Restock ingredients, monitor freshness, and report low supplies Maintains sandwich fridge and made to order sandwich bar Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness Work efficiently with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff during busy periods Adhere to all safety practices, procedures and guidelines This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Qualifications Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related work preferred. Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful. Great communication.
