Learn more about us on our website at https://landseacamps.com/ [https://landseacamps.com/] About Working in Remote Camps * Our camps are located in remote areas and staff live on-site on scheduled shifts and leave camp on scheduled breaks. * Most of our LandSea camps offer individual staff accommodation, ensuite or shared bathroom, full meals, WIFI and some have health/gym facilities for staff. * Camp staff work long hours and multiple days in a row. A typical workday is between 10-12 hours (day or night shift) and overtime rates apply. * Health and Safety and a Respectful Workplace are essential for everyone working together at LandSea. Our camps are drug and alcohol-free workplaces and require pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. The Breakfast Baker / Housekeeper is a combined role responsible for preparing breakfast and service, plus preparing all baked items, as outlined in a predetermined menu plan and also housekeeeping duties. About the Job, Benefits and Perks * Temporary position starting as soon as possible and ending December 21, 2026 * Wages starting between $22.57 to $25.65 per hour * Overtime pay Schedule: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts depending on operational needs * Rotation: 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off, 3 weeks on and 1 week off or 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off * Travel Subsidy may be available for inbound and outbound travel * Health and Wellness Benefits program available for full-time staff * Meals and accommodation while working on site * Partial uniform is provided * Footwear allowance may be available * Company and team building events * Opportunities for professional development such as continuous training and possible mentorship programs Camp Location We have several camps operating in British Columbia and Alberta Job Qualifications * Minimum 3-5 years' previous experience as a breakfast cook, line cook, baker or similar role * High production baking experience while maintaining a minimum of 70% scratch baking * Knowledge of breakfast food preparation and cooking techniques * Strong attention to detail and time management skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Food Safe Certification is an asset * Great communication. Speak, read and write English * Team player who can provide support, motivation, and encouragement to others Job Duties and Responsibilities Breakfast Baker * Prepare and cook breakfast items such as eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, breakfast meats, and other menu offerings. * Set up and stock cooking stations before service. * Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, portion standards, and quality requirements. * Monitor food inventory and notify management of supply needs. * Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area. * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. * Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products. * Work efficiently during busy breakfast service periods. * Support other kitchen staff as needed. * Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations after service. Housekeeper * Provide first-class customer service * Make beds, change linens, comforters and towels * Remove garbage and dust shelving * Sweep and vacuum the mudroom, hallway, and entranceways * Check inbound and outbound guest lists for room changeover. Report changes and cleaned items * Ensure bathrooms are cleaned each day (floors, toilets, shower stalls, sinks, and mirrors) * Replenish toilet paper, paper towels and soap * Keep the laundry room tidy; dust and sweep daily, mop every other day * Keep linen storage clean and organized This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The Breakfast Baker is responsible for preparing breakfast menu items and executing all scratch baking requirements according to a predetermined plan. They must also maintain a sanitary workspace, manage inventory, and support other kitchen staff during service.

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a breakfast or baking role and possess strong production baking skills. A Food Safe Certification is considered an asset, and the ability to work long shifts in a remote camp environment is required.
