Learn more about us on our website at https://landseacamps.com/ [https://landseacamps.com/] About Working in Remote Camps * Our camps are located in remote areas and staff live on-site on scheduled shifts and leave camp on scheduled breaks. * Most of our LandSea camps offer individual staff accommodation, ensuite or shared bathroom, full meals, WIFI and some have health/gym facilities for staff. * Camp staff work long hours and multiple days in a row. A typical workday is between 10-12 hours (day or night shift) and overtime rates apply. * Health and Safety and a Respectful Workplace are essential for everyone working together at LandSea. Our camps are drug and alcohol-free workplaces and require pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. The Breakfast Baker / Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the overall organization, housekeeping and efficient operation of LandSea camp facilities and for preparing breakfast and service, plus preparing all baked items, as outlined in a predetermined menu plan. About the Job, Benefits and Perks * Temporary position starting September 11th and ending December 21st, 2026 * Wages starting between $24.62 and $25.65 * Overtime pay * Schedule: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts depending on operational needs * Rotation: 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off * Half rotation day shift / half rotation night shift * Inbound and Outbound travel paid * Health and Wellness Benefits program available for full-time staff * Meals and accommodation while working on site * Partial uniform is provided * Footwear allowance may be available * Company and team building events * Opportunities for professional development such as continuous training and possible mentorship programs Camp Location This camp is remote and located approximately 5 hours south of Smithers, BC Our team organizes all logistics and travel for employees to get to and from camp. #ACAN150 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Breakfast Cook / Baker * Prepare and cook breakfast items such as eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, breakfast meats, and other menu offerings * Set up and stock cooking stations before service. * Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, portion standards, and quality requirements * Monitor food inventory and notify management of supply needs * Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations * Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products * Work efficiently during busy breakfast service periods * Support other kitchen staff as needed * Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations after service Housekeeping & Guest Services * Oversee room inspections and cleaning schedules * Remove garbage and dust shelving * Sweep and vacuum the mudroom, hallway, and entranceways * Check inbound and outbound guest lists for room changeover. Report changes and cleaned items * Ensure bathrooms are cleaned each day (floors, toilets, shower stalls, sinks, and mirrors) * Replenish toilet paper, paper towels and soap * Keep the laundry room tidy; dust and sweep daily, mop every other day * Keep linen storage clean and organized * Other duties may be assigned * Ensure accommodations, laundry facilities, and common areas meet company standards * Respond to client and guest concerns promptly * Deliver high-quality customer service in a remote camp environment This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). QUALIFICATIONS * 4 years' experience in a related field of work; preferably a camp catering environment with a housekeeping background preferred * 3-5 years' previous experience as a breakfast cook, line cook, baker or similar role preferred * High production baking experience while maintaining a minimum of 70% scratch baking * Knowledge of breakfast food preparation and cooking techniques * Basic First Aid, basic and advanced Food Safe training, WHMIS, HCCAP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), Travel Restraint, Transport of Dangerous Goods, Accident Investigation, and Health and Safety Training certificates are an asset * Knowledge of Camp Manager Database programs and retail Point of Sale systems * Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills * Strong decision making and delegation skills * Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word * Superior organization and time management skills * Team player and can provide support, motivation and encouragement to others Pre-employment Requirements * LandSea and site-specific Orientation and Health and Safety * Drug and Alcohol Clearance * Criminal Record Check Clearance * Health Questionnaire * Valid Government Issued ID for travel if required ABOUT ARAMARK At Aramark, we empower our people to create moments that matter through exceptional hospitality experiences.
