Applicants can explore diverse career opportunities through Ardene’s dedicated careers platforms. Role Description The Store Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Montreal, QC. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including staff scheduling, task delegation, and ensuring that store standards for merchandising, cleanliness, and visual presentation are consistently met. This role supervises, coaches, and motivates store team members to deliver excellent customer service, drive sales, and meet performance targets. The Store Manager is also responsible for monitoring inventory levels, managing cash handling procedures, and implementing retail loss prevention practices. In addition, this role collaborates with district and head office partners, reports on store performance, and supports an inclusive, engaging, and safe work environment. Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction abilities. Proven Store Management experience in retail, with a focus on team leadership and sales performance. Effective Communication skills for working with customers, team members, and management. Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices and procedures. Experience in fashion or apparel retail is an asset. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Proficiency in basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Previous supervisory experience and familiarity with coaching and performance management. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business or retail management is an advantage.
