Our Operations group is currently looking to add a Picker / Boom Truck Operator to the team, based in Dawson Creek, BC. Reporting to the Operations Lead, this position will operate a 25-ton picker truck in support of a Pipeline Construction Project. Please Note: this position will work a rotation of 6 days on / 1 day off Duties And Responsibilities Perform hoisting activities in compliance with lift plans and site procedures Inspect rigging and ensure all loads are secure prior to lifting Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment Work closely with ground crew, signalers, and supervisors to complete lifts safely Adhere to all occupational health & safety regulations and company policies Maintain accurate equipment logs and documentation Requirements 3 years of experience operating a picker in construction or pipeline environments Valid Class 1 Driver's License with air brake endorsement Valid Crane Operator Certification (provincial or Red Seal, where applicable) Proven ability to safely perform lifts in challenging terrain and weather conditions All job level tickets: First Aid, H2S Alive, CCSO Must be able to pass a pre employment Drug and Alcohol Test Benefits We offer a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes a complete range of employee benefits to ensure you have the tools necessary to manage, maintain, and improve your health and wellbeing.
