Yard Controller

Yard Controller Location: Calgary, AB Pay Rate: $18.75/hour Job Type: Full-Time We are currently hiring Yard Controllers for a busy distribution facility in Calgary. The successful candidates must be flexible and willing to work any of the available shift schedules. Available Shifts: 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM Schedules may include Sunday–Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday–Saturday rotations. Job Responsibilities: Monitor and coordinate activities within the yard. Help maintain an organized and safe yard environment. Coordinate the movement and positioning of trailers and equipment. Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other team members. Follow all safety procedures and site requirements. Perform physical duties, including heavy lifting, as required. Maintain accurate information and ensure smooth yard operations. Requirements: Previous yard, warehouse, logistics, or material-handling experience is an asset. Must be comfortable working in an outdoor yard environment. Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work. Strong English communication skills are required.
