At our Stratford Facility, we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense, and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly department, and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate. Compensation Range: $23.03 up to $34.53 hourly Position Summary: As a Welder, the incumbent is responsible for welding and finishing specific components from detailed schematics or blueprints and materials to meet customer requirements and specifications. The incumbent must also be able to weld MIG & TIG Aluminum. Primary Responsibilities: * Able to weld with GMAW & GTAW to the required specifications. (Carbon and Stainless Steel) * Able to weld MIG & TIG Aluminum * Communicate and work with co-workers to develop fixture concepts. * Perform welding, grinding duties as required. * Work independently or as a team member. * Work from complex drawings. * Ensure all parts are prefabricated correctly to meet customer specifications * Work in a safe manner by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Company * Policies and Procedures. * Perform other duties as defined and assigned by the department supervisor or lead hand. * Comply and perform all duties according to the organizational set of standards. * Initiate and continually strive for maximum production efficiency and attention to detail. * Document and complete ITP reports. * Maintain a clean and organized working area. * Upon completion of assigned work, ensure adequate clean-up and inspection of all weldments and fabricated parts as required. * Knowledge of welding process and set-up. * Blueprint reading * WHMIS and MSDS knowledge of all substances Educational Requirements: * Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent Required Skills & Expertise: * You have at least 3-5 years of previous work-related experience in the same or related industry. * CWB/AWS/TSSA tickets are an asset * Experience in custom fabrication is an asset * Experience with MIG & TIG Aluminum Required. Responsible for welding and finishing components from detailed schematics and blueprints to meet customer specifications. Duties include performing MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, carbon, and stainless steel while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Requires a Grade 12 diploma and 3-5 years of experience in a related industry, specifically with MIG and TIG aluminum welding. CWB, AWS, or TSSA certifications and custom fabrication experience are considered assets.
