Key Responsibilities Lead RF design, planning, and optimization activities for LTE and 5G networks. Develop and optimize network designs using RF planning tools such as Atoll and Planet EV. Perform coverage, capacity, and link budget analysis, including antenna tilt/azimuth optimization and new site recommendations. Analyze network KPIs, Layer 3 signaling, drive test data, and performance statistics to identify and resolve accessibility, retainability, mobility, and handover issues. Optimize network performance through parameter tuning, feature activation, carrier additions, and traffic analysis. Support deployment of technologies including 5G NR, Massive MIMO, mmWave, CBRS, LAA, IoT, and LTE. Utilize optimization and drive test tools such as TEMS, Actix, Agilent, R&S, and network management platforms. Lead technical activities across multiple projects while coordinating with cross-functional teams and customers. Provide recommendations to improve overall network design, performance, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of hands-on experience in RF network design, planning, and optimization. Proven leadership experience managing technical activities on multiple large-scale wireless network projects, including at least one major metropolitan or statewide deployment. Strong experience with LTE and 5G NR network optimization and planning. Hands-on experience with Atoll, Planet EV, and RF planning methodologies. Strong understanding of link budgets, Monte Carlo analysis, Automatic Cell Planning (ACP), Layer 3 messaging, and KPI optimization. Experience with optimization tools including TEMS, Actix, Agilent, or Rohde & Schwarz (R&S). Knowledge of Massive MIMO, mmWave, CBRS, LAA, IoT, and multi-vendor wireless environments. Excellent analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills. Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.
