Key Responsibilities Define system architecture and system/subsystem requirements for EV charging products. Translate product and customer needs into clear technical requirements and specifications. Develop verification plans, validation strategies, DFMEAs, and Design Verification Test Plans. Lead system integration, troubleshooting, and V&V activities. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, mechanical, and product teams. Support product compliance with standards such as SAE J1772, IEC 61851, ISO 15118, OCPP, UL, and CSA. Qualifications 5+ years of Systems Engineering or Electrical Systems Engineering experience. Strong background in power electronics, power conversion, or electrical power systems. Experience with EV charging, BESS, renewable energy, solar, or microgrids. Strong knowledge of requirements management, system architecture, integration, and V&V. Experience with tools such as DOORS, Polarion, or Jama is an asset. V2G/V2X, OCPP, ISO 15118, DFMEA, UL/CSA, and NEC/NFPA experience is an asset.
