AI Software Engineer

Senior AI Software EngineerOverview Join an innovative product team building AI-enabled Decision Intelligence solutions that drive meaningful outcomes across patient care, team member and patient experience, clinical and back-office operations, and financial performance. In this senior contract role, you’ll design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI products—working closely with engineers, data scientists, architects, product managers, and designers through continuous Product Discovery and Product Delivery cycles. Required Skills (Top 5) AI/ML deployment experience, including agent deployment, LLM integration, and RAG patterns Azure AI/ML deployment knowledge and cloud-based production implementation Strong cloud architecture fundamentals, including containerization and DevSecOps practices API integration, observability, and production readiness for AI applications Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java Nice to Have Skills (Top 5) Experience with AI application frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) Familiarity with Responsible AI principles (fairness, bias mitigation, explainability) Healthcare industry experience and/or knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules Proficiency with semi-structured file formats and NoSQL databases Experience designing and implementing scalable MLOps pipelines for structured/unstructured data Preferred Education and Experience 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience with demonstrated delivery of AI/ML solutions in production environments Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience) Other Requirements Ability to collaborate effectively on a cross-functional product team and contribute across discovery-to-delivery cycles Positive, solution-oriented approach with a focus on balancing viability, value, feasibility, and usability If you’re ready to build and deploy AI products that deliver real-world outcomes, apply today to be considered.
