We are currently looking to hire an experienced Project Manager with Bridge experience to join our Transportation Practice, which spans across Western Canada with deep expertise in bridges, culverts, and structural rehabilitation, inspection and asset management. In our Winnipeg location we are looking for an experienced professional to join our growing team and provide leadership to our team, and in the delivery of our projects. Projects will range from municipal and provincial infrastructure to specialty structures, varying in scale and delivery model. You'll maintain technical quality, keep projects on time and on budget, and serve as the senior point of contact your clients' trust Develop People You will mentor and support junior and intermediate staff, help support our culture of support and success that retains good people Contribute to a culture that connects our Winnipeg team to AE's broader national network. Help develop the Engineers-in-Training and intermediate engineers who will be the backbone of this practice five years from now. Technical Skills You will also step in to complete design work as needed in support of project teams, and to keep your design skills sharp. Build The Manitoba Practice You will develop and maintain client relationships with clients. You'll identify opportunities, lead pursuits, and build Associated's profile, including in urban and rural communities. You will be supported by our leadership team. The ideal candidate is able to grow new business in communities throughout the region, is interested in advancing in their career, and is self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges. As part of the Winnipeg structural team, you will be joining the Bridges and Structures team for Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Required What you bring: Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or an associated discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution P.Eng. in good standing with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba 10+ years of relevant experience with meaningful involvement in bridge design, rehabilitation or assessment Demonstrated experience in managing projects Proven track record of successful project delivery and client service Experience mentoring and developing junior staff in a collegial environment Possess a valid class 5 driver's license Available to travel as required Assets We’d Value Established relationships with Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure, City of Winnipeg experience in business development, proposal pursuits, and Familiarity with rural and remote infrastructure A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering. Lead and deliver bridge and structural projects throughout the full lifecycle from pursuit to close-out. Mentor junior staff and develop client relationships to grow the transportation practice in Manitoba.

Requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, P.Eng. licensure in Manitoba, and 10+ years of experience in bridge design or rehabilitation. Must have a proven track record of project delivery and a valid class 5 driver's license.
