Salesforce QA Automation Engineer

Job Description: Salesforce QA Automation Engineer Location: Toronto; Hybrid: 2 days in office • Own and drive the overall QA strategy for Salesforce applications while remaining hands-on with test planning, automation, execution, and defect management. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and automated test scripts for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Lightning Experience applications. • Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, API, and system testing across Salesforce FSC, Wealth Management platforms, and related financial applications. • Develop and execute UI and API automation using Selenium, Java, JavaScript, or equivalent automation tools and frameworks. • Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, business processes, data quality, security settings, and integrations with upstream and downstream financial systems. • Execute backend data validation using SQL and perform testing of REST/SOAP APIs, interfaces, and third-party integrations. • Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Wealth Management stakeholders to review requirements, identify risks, and ensure high-quality delivery throughout the SDLC. • Lead and mentor QA team members, contribute to CI/CD automation initiatives, and provide technical guidance while actively participating in hands-on testing and automation development. Top 3 Required Skills: • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Lightning Experience Testing • QA Automation using Selenium, Java/JavaScript, API Testing, and CI/CD • Wealth Management / Financial Services Domain Expertise Top 3 Preferred Skills: • Salesforce Integrations, REST/SOAP API Testing, and External Financial Application Testing • Strong SQL and Backend Data Validation Experience • Knowledge of Salesforce Data Model, Security, Workflows, Apex, and Stakeholder Management Skills
