The Office of the External Vice President focuses on student advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels through legislative advocacy, organizing, civic engagement, and collaboration with the University of California Student Association (UCSA). Members of the EVP Office work to support advocacy initiatives impacting students and higher education while helping strengthen student engagement, outreach, organizing, and legislative efforts throughout the academic year. Responsibilities Core staff members within the EVP Office play an important role in helping ensure the office remains organized, collaborative, communicative, and aligned with its advocacy goals, legislative priorities, and broader office initiatives.
