Not only will we support you in obtaining your Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, we will give you a rich training experience. Developing skilled university graduates to be vibrant, contributing innovators is key to the future and ATB’s Pre-Approved CPA Professional Program does just that. ATB’s Pre-Approved CPA Professional Program provides successful candidates with a range of opportunities to obtain the required competencies required for the CPA designation. This 30-month rotational program spans Corporate Accounting, External Reporting, and Financial Planning & Analysis, culminating in the achievement of at least two level 5 Financial Reporting competencies required for your CPA. Why get your designation with ATB? You will be challenged and encouraged to reach your fullest potential. Our program is designed to not only train you for your CPA designation but provide you with the business experience to quickly advance your career. You will have meaningful work creating value for the business; by supporting the work that directly improves ATB’s financial performance. You will gain the skills and knowledge to be a CPA during a 30-month, CPA institute-approved rotational program designed to provide breadth and depth of practical experience. You will receive all the financial and educational support for your program studies including: full cost of the first writing of the CPA Professional Program module exam and module registration and fees, Densmore prep courses (if applicable), being paired with a CPA-approved mentor to help you make the most of your experience, and additional paid leave to study for exams and employment benefits. Your pay scale is set up to reflect your progression through the CPA program. About You Are you up for it? Education and Experience: University degree students completing their final year of studies in Commerce or Business - specializing in Accounting, Finance or Economics Strong academic results Have all prerequisite courses to enter the CPA Professional Program Business or accounting related work experience is considered an asset Involvement in extracurricular business or accounting activities is an asset As the ideal candidate you possess: Highly-developed analytical and problem-solving skills Detail oriented and strong time management & organizational skills The ability to adapt to new situations and prioritize when needed Strong communications skills Relationship-building and collaboration skills The ability to be self-motivated and are able to initiate activities with minimal supervision A passion for learning and our industry The ability to work in a team environment All applications must be received no later than September 30, 2026.
